The body found near an off-ramp on I-84 in Danbury has been identified as a 63-year-old New York man, police say.

State Police Troop A confirmed the body of Herbert Ruehle, of Carmel, was found near the Exit 4 ramps to Interstate-84 on Lake Avenue.

Ruehle was discovered in a grassy area off the highway. Police have determined there was no evidence of foul play.

There was no word yet on how the man died.
