A Bridgeport man was ordered held on $650,000 bond Monday after Greenwich police say he tried to meet a teen for sex.
Police say 41-year-old Rashad Tao Salaam began an online relationship with a 13-year-old girl from Greenwich.
They say Salaam sent multiple sexual images to the girl and eventually asked to meet in person.
A police officer then posed as the girl online and arranged a meeting, where Salaam was arrested.
Police say Salaam had access to children through his job as a cafeteria worker, but they will not say which school he worked at.
