A Bridgeport man is facing charges this evening after allegedly stabbing a Stamford man and cutting off pieces of his arm. Investigators say Everarde Boothe pulled a knife on the 32-year-old victim after a fight at a Forest Street apartment complex this morning. Boothe was taken into custody at the apartment and has been charged with first-degree assault. Police say the victim was taken to Stamford Hospital after he first drove to an emergency clinic to find no one inside. He has been listed in stable condition. A third man involved in the scuffle was also hospitalized and is currently being detained by police. He is also expected to face charges.
