As many as a dozen college students who took part in a fake ID ring could be arrested when they return to Stamford for Thanksgiving break, according to police.
Police say two college students, who are from Stamford, sold fake IDs for $250 to at least 12 and possibly dozens of college students.
Detectives say they ordered the phony licenses from a website that shipped them to a fraudulent address in Stamford.
Police say that they will interview the students who bought the IDs and decide whether they will be charged as well.
If convicted, the students could face up to five years in prison.
