Police say someone either shot a BB gun or threw a rock through the window of an NYPD cruiser on Tinton Avenue Wednesday.
The car was near the John Adams Houses as police carried out a wellness check around 2:20 p.m., according to authorities.
They say officers heard a pop.
No arrests have been made.
