A child was struck by a pickup truck in Bridgeport Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred on Park Avenue near Cottage Street and West Liberty Street.
Police said a young boy was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
Details surrounding the crash and the boy’s condition were not immediately available.
