Dismembered body parts found in suitcases inside Cypress Hills apartment, NYPD says

Police say they found a body was dismembered and stuffed into two suitcases in an apartment in Cypress Hills Wednesday.
The NYPD responded to the apartment building at 315 Lindwood St. after they say tenants of the building smelled a foul order. The smell came from the 6th floor apartment, according to police.
Police say someone inside the building found the suitcases inside the apartment first and called 911 for a wellness check. Police had to wait ten hours to open the suitcases because they needed a search warrant.
As of now, there is no missing persons report filed for the 22-year-old woman who lives in that apartment.
Neighbors told News 12 they have seen the woman's boyfriend beat her several times. At this hour, police are still looking to speak with him. Neighbors also told News 12 the fighting would get so bad that, at times, they needed to call police. Soon after, the fighting stopped, and neighbors claim they haven't seen the woman in two weeks.
After, neighbors began to smell a foul odor on the sixth floor of the building.
The identity of the victim and cause of death is currently unclear.
