Weston and state police found a man Sunday morning after he went missing from a car accident for an hour.

Police found the man's car crashed in the woods at the dead end of Wells Hill Road at around 3 a.m. Weston police say the driver tried to walk home through the woods, and over an hour later he ended up in Fairfield where he called a friend to pick him up.

The driver told police he slid into the tree because of the weather. Police charged him for leaving the scene of an accident.
