Greenwich police believe a series of car part thefts in the town may be linked to others that have been reported in surrounding areas.
Police say high-end cars have been targeted by the thieves. One car in a lot at Miller Motorcars on West Putnam Avenue had $8,000 worth of parts stolen. Another lot down the street was also robbed, police say. Similar thefts occurred at dealerships in Westport and New York, with the parts being sold in The Bronx.
Anyone with information on the thefts is asked to contact Greenwich police.
