Home surveillance video shows a pair of suspects attempting to break into locked cars in the driveway of a New Canaan home.

Police say the incident was recorded Wednesday around 2 a.m. by a surveillance camera at a home on Old Stamford Road.

Investigators say the cars in the driveway were locked, but that the suspects managed to break into unlocked vehicles on Leslie Lane and Mortimer Street Wednesday morning.

A complete list of stolen items is not yet available, but police say a wallet was stolen from one of the vehicles.

Police are urging residents to lock and alarm their cars, and to remove personal belongings from inside the cabin.
