A spokeswoman for Saint Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport says police were searching the area around the hospital after there was a report of a man wearing a mask.
She says police do not believe anyone is in danger.
The spokeswoman says as a precaution, an e-mail was sent to Saint Vincent's College students alerting them about the situation.
