Shelton police have launched multiple investigations into an October armed robbery following an arrest.
The first part of the investigation is an armed robbery police say happened after a man left an illegal after-hours bar on Howe Avenue.
Both the robbery and the bar are under investigation.
Police arrested Marquise King, 29, of Bridgeport, Tuesday on robbery, larceny and illegal gun charges. Officers said the incident happened in early October.
Two people approached the victim, held him at gunpoint and stole his credit cards, phone and jewelry.
Police say they followed up on purchases made from those stolen credit cards.
When they arrested King, investigators recovered the stolen items and the items he'd bought with the credit cards.
Police are also investigating the after-hours bar. They say it was run out of a basement apartment and shut down.
