Police say a man was arrested for attempting to break into two homes in Fairfield Saturday.

They say Michael Targouski tried to get into a garage on Old Oaks Road, then several hours later did the same on Algonquin Road.

Authorities recognized him from home surveillance video. He was later arrested.
