Westport police arrested a New York man for allegedly lying about his identity in an attempt to steal thousands of dollars.
Police say it happened at around 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the TD Bank on Post Road East.
They say that 26-year-old Kurtney St.Ville, of Brooklyn, was caught using a stolen identity at the bank.
Officials say St. Ville was trying to transfer $30,000 to multiple bank accounts.
