A 22-year-old man was fatally stabbed Saturday in Danbury, police say.

It happened just before 12:30 p.m. on Granville Avenue.

Police say the victim, whose identify has not been released, was taken to Danbury Hospital where they were later died.

Following an investigation, 21-year-old Bryan Eduardo Caceres-Pinguil of Danbury was arrested.

He is facing multiple charges including murder, assault, two counts of risk of injury to a minor and disorderly conduct.

Caceres-Pinguil is being held on $1,000,000 bond.
