Police believe the same man is responsible for two hold-ups a half-hour apart in Norwalk Friday.
A Dress Barn on Main Avenue was robbed less than 30 minutes after a Westport Avenue Payless was similarly held up. In both incidents, police say the suspect used a knife to threaten workers and demanded money.
Authorities are looking at surveillance video to try to determine the suspect's identity.
The robberies come on the heels of a string of armed robberies in recent weeks - including one of a Shell gas station in which the attendant died after being shot in the head.
