Police: Man stabbed several times outside Bridgeport market; suspect in custody

Police say the suspect, 19 year old Dwayne McBean was taken into custody at an apartment at 240 William St. shortly after the stabbing.

One man was stabbed several times in Bridgeport and another man is in police custody, investigators say.
The incident happened Tuesday outside the Agua Miel Market at the intersection of Kossuth and Maple Streets around 3 p.m. 
Police say the 39-year-old man who was stabbed is in critical condition. 
Police say the suspect, 19 year old Dwayne McBean was taken into custody at an apartment at 240 William St. shortly after the stabbing. 
McBean was charged with criminal attempt, murder, assault, carrying a dangerous weapon, and tampering with evidence.  His Bond is set at $250,000.
