A man tried to lure a jogger into his car in Norwalk, according to police.

The incident happened June 22 around 5 p.m. on Beach Road near Pine Hill Avenue.

Police are advising area residents to be on the lookout for a small red sedan that they believe the suspect was driving.

Police say the man did not try to touch the jogger, who ended up running away.

Officials describe the suspect as a white man with white and blonde hair, blue eyes, possibly in his 20s to 30s, and was wearing black and gold eyeglasses at the time of the incident.

They say anybody with information should call them.
