Police in Bridgeport are searching for a suspect who they say may be connected to two armed robberies in the city.
The first incident was reported at Uptown News on Main Street at around 8 p.m. Thursday.
Police say surveillance video shows the man pointing a gun at the clerk and demanding that he put money into a bag. News 12 is told the suspect left the store after the clerk called out for a manager.
Police say the same man is possibly responsible for a second robbery at a nearby hair salon 30 minutes later.
Officers released surveillance video from Another Level Hair Salon, also on Main Street.
Bridgeport police are asking anyone with information on either incident to give them a call.
