Police are accusing a Norwalk mother involved in a car accident last night of driving drunk and texting with her three children in the car.
Officials say 39-year-old Juana Figueroa had a blood-alcohol content of more than three times the legal limit when she crashed into another car on West Avenue at around 11 p.m.
Police say that Figueroa admitted to texting while driving at the time of the accident.
Figueroa faces multiple charges and remains in police custody following the incident.
