A New York man is accused of crashing into a police cruiser after attempting to break into Saks Fifth Avenue in Greenwich.
Police say it happened on Sunday at 5 a.m.
Officers say they received a report of someone trying to open the back doors of the building.
When they arrived, 35-year-old Anthony Vasquez, was driving erratically in the area.
Vasquez then collided head-on with a marked police vehicle.
He tried to leave but was not able to because of the car's damage.
Police say Vasquez had a "Scream" movie mask, gloves and a screwdriver in his possession.
He faces several charges and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
He is expected to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Nov. 13.
