Westport police say they don't believe foul play was a factor in the death of a man whose body was found washed up on the shore.
Resident Max Haslett, 17, says he was walking his dog along the Saugatuck shore shortly after 8 a.m. Friday when he saw what looked like a man lying face down in the mud.
Haslett says he called police, who blocked off a section of Harbor Road as they investigated. They took drone footage and had crews on the water for most of the morning.
The medical examiner is investigating the cause of death. The man's identity was not released.
