A threatening message was discovered inside a girls bathroom at Greenwich High School Thursday, officials confirm.
The message was discovered around 9:30 a.m. The Greenwich Police Department went on site shortly after to assess the situation.
Jonathan Supranowitz, director of communications and Board of Education liaison, says police determined there is no imminent threat.
Police say the school was not in lockdown or sheltered in place, and students were allowed to go home if they wanted to.
Classes were held as normal.
The threatening message comes after nearly two weeks of similar hoax threats in other schools across Connecticut.
