3ds agoPolice say a Waterbury officer was shot while investigating a traffic incident Tuesday.
They say the officer was saved by his bulletproof vest after being shot in the chest.
Police will not release any additional details of what led to the shooting, nor will they comment on reports that four suspects were arrested a short time later at Oxford Airport.
