Westport police say the owner of International Wine Shop on Post Road East is facing charges for selling alcohol to minors.
Police say a witness who saw two girls leave the store contacted authorities. Officers then pulled the girls over and confirmed that they were 18 years old.
Police arrested the owner, who they say admitted that he sold the alcohol without checking the age of the buyers. He is now out on a $500 bond.
