Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in Milford Sunday night.Authorities say they received an anonymous call at around 7:30 p.m about shots being fired near Wheelers Farms and Zion Hill roads. Investigators say they found a man dead on the side of the road.Police say the man was shot several times, had cash in his pocket, but no identification. Authorities say the victim was 28 years old and from New Haven.Investigators located the car he was last seen driving on a Bridgeport street. Police say they hope to confirm the victim's identity after the state medical examiner completes an autopsy.
