Police departments across the Hudson Valley are monitoring the recent military action in Iran as they work to reassure residents.

The Clarkstown Police Department said there are no specific threats to residents. Officers will increase patrols around houses of worship and other sensitive locations throughout the town.

In Rockland County, Haverstraw and Ramapo police are encouraging residents to remain alert and report any suspicious activity.

In Westchester, county police said they are monitoring developments overseas and have already increased patrols around houses of worship due to current and upcoming holidays and observances.
