Fairfield police are searching for the whereabouts of a woman arrested and charged with crashing into a gas station in March.
Police say she was released from state custody after the crash, but she didn't show up for her court date on Friday.
They say Rosa Blanca Chavarria-Medina was drunk and driving with a suspended license when she sped down the Exit 24 ramp of I-95. Police say she hit several cars before crashing into Cumberland Farms.
Officers say they are hopeful Chavarria-Medina is in federal custody and there was simply some miscommunication about her location.
