State police are investigating what caused a crash that killed a Bridgeport man in Shelton.

State police are investigating what caused a crash that killed a Bridgeport man in Shelton.
The incident happened on the southbound side of Route 8 between exits 13 and 12, which has been the scene of multiple fatal crashes.
State troopers say 46-year-old Demar Thompson lost control of his car, went down an embankment and struck a tree.
The car then burst into flames.
Anyone who may have seen the accident is asked to call state police.
