yesterdayPolice say a Shelton man was arrested for attempting to meet up with a 13-year-old girl at Walmart on Sunday.
Officials said Anthony Grillo, 72, is charged with enticing a minor and criminal attempt at sexual assault.
Grillo arranged to meet who he believed was a 13-year-old female at the Walmart located in Shelton.
Officials said once he arrived, he was confronted by an organization that expose individuals meeting up with juveniles for sex.
The police were contacted and arrested Grillo.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, with additional arrests expected.
