A Stamford man was drunk when he plowed a dump truck into another driver on Long Ridge Road on July 28.

Michael Lombardo, 48, was a 2024 Kia EV6 SUV drunk, twice the legal limit of alcohol when he hit a 2007 Sterling dump truck.

Police say Lombardo suffered serious injuries as he was pulled from the vehicle.

The driver of the dump truck suffered minor injuries as they were transported to Stamford Hospital.

Lombardo is facing several charges and was released on a $75,000 bond.

His court date is scheduled for Nov. 10.
