Westchester police say they received an alert Friday morning that a Ford SUV was traveling on Route 35 in Lewisboro.
A Westchester police sergeant was able to locate the purported vehicle heading southbound, but the driver would not pull over.
The vehicle was eventually stopped on Marble Avenue in Pleasantville, but the suspect jumped out and ran off, police say.
The suspect was eventually found in a yard on Pollywiggle Lane and taken into custody.
