A man was shot in the back and is in critical condition at the hospital after police say another man opened fire and shot him.

Police: Suspect opened fire on man at Bridgeport housing project
A man was shot in the back at a Bridgeport housing complex and is in critical condition after police say another man opened fire and shot him. 
The shooting happened at the PT Barnum Housing Complex Sunday after 7:30 p.m.
Police say they were notified of the shooting through ShotSpotter and found the man in the driveway of the housing complex with a gunshot wound to the back.
He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Police identified the victim as a 50-year-old homeless man who frequents Bridgeport.
Police released surveillance images of the shooter who they describe as a Black man wearing a white-colored t-shirt and black and white colored pants.
 The suspect took off on an electric scooter after the shooting.
