The suspect who shot a Naugatuck police officer earlier this week in Waterbury has been arrested, police say.
Jason Perez faces several charges, including assault in the first degree.
As News 12 reported, the officer was grazed by a bullet while working on an undercover operation with the Connecticut State Police Violent Crimes Task Force Wednesday night on Chase Parkway.
He was taken to Waterbury Hospital but was quickly released and is expected to make a full recovery.
