Stamford police are asking for the public's help Tuesday to find two masked men who went into a resident's home and tied him up early Monday morning.
Police describe the two suspects as white males, possibly Hispanic, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and in their early 20s. They say one suspect was carrying a semi-automatic pistol.
Officials say both suspects entered an unlocked back door of a home on Alma Rock Road in north Stamford. They say once inside, the men tied up a young man living there with phone wires they tore out of the wall and wires from a video game.
Police say the suspects rummaged through the home, searching for something but then left quickly without taking anything of value.
Police say the victim inside the home was not injured.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Stamford police.
