Stamford police say a 16-year-old from Westchester County, N.Y. may face charges after leading officers on a high speed chase Monday night.
Police say the teen sped down High Ridge Road at around 8:15 p.m. at 100 miles per hour. Officers attempted to pull him over using lights and sirens, but the suspect fled going the wrong way down Bedford Street. The teen finally stopped on Greyrock Street after hitting a parked car and blowing a tire.
Stamford police say they did not find drugs, alcohol or weapons in the car.
He was released on $5,000 bond and is due in court later this month.
