Police say thieves stole copper from a Stratford park's fountain yesterday.
Investigators say a two-foot section of copper pipe was stolen, causing the fountain at Clover Field Park to overflow onto the athletic fields.
Copper tubing is worth about $3 per pound when sold for scrap.
