Now that school is back in session, police are urging drivers across Connecticut to slow down after two pedestrians were hit by cars in Milford within 48 hours.
Police say a 14-year-old boy suffered a fractured skull yesterday while crossing the road on his way to school.
The accident happened on Route One, which is Bridgeport Avenue, at about 7:30 a.m.
There are no crosswalks in the area.
Milford's mayor says he's working with the DOT to have more crosswalks put in along Route One.
