A Westport town park was vandalized with racist messages of graffiti, police say.
Police say the messages were found scrawled on the basketball courts at Compo Beach Tuesday night.
Crews spent the night removing the graffiti. The courts were then reopened.
Town officials call the graffiti "inexcusable."
