Police in Westport have identified the 56-year-old woman who was found unresponsive by a housekeeper.
Authorities say they were first called to a home on Oak Ridge Park around 11 a.m. Thursday.
They identified the woman as Jennifer Lindstrom. She was found at the bottom of a staircase, leading to the home's basement.

The State Police Major Crimes Squad was called in to collect evidence.
"There was a significant amount of blood," says Westport Lt. Eric Woods.
Woods says it's not the first time that officers have been called to the home.
"Jennifer's been arrested by our department in the past," says Woods. "Some family violence, family issues we've intervened on."
Police say that Lindstrom was separated from her husband, who didn't live at the home. They say she was last seen alive by one of her children the night before, adding that the family is cooperating with the investigation.
"Although we don't think there's any foul play, we have not determined how she got to the bottom of the stairs," says Woods.
An investigation into what occurred is continuing, and an autopsy will be performed by the medical examiner.
