A new Quinnipiac poll shows Gov. Dannel Malloy is not very popular with the people of Connecticut right now.
The new poll finds that 24 percent of voters approve of how Malloy is doing his job, while 68 percent disapprove.
The numbers are the governor's lowest approval rating yet.
Officials at the polling institute believe months of cost cutting and layoffs in Hartford have weighed heavy on the mind of voters.
