A new survey shows that online shoppers will want to be extra careful this year.
With Black Friday quickly approaching, and holiday shopping to-do lists growing by the day, insuranceQuotes.com's newly released 2022 Porch Pirates Report suggests 64% of people will be shopping for their presents on the web.
Unfortunately, that same survey also found that 26% of people have experienced having something they ordered stolen from their porch before it ever landed in their hands.
So-called "porch pirates" are making off with big-ticket items, too, as many shoppers report spending upwards of 21% more on gifts this year.
