A prominent Republican is speaking out about controversial comments she made on the heels of Charlie Kirk's assassination. Fairfield RTM member Melissa Longo posted on Facebook, “F*** the left...We are done playing with you...All of you are faithless, God-hating evil, vile people."

This week, we asked Longo if that's how she views political opponents. Fairfield First Selectman Christine Vitale discussed her reaction to those comments and many more issues in this edition of Power & Politics.

Also, a state homelessness report just came out showing a 10% increase in Connecticut’s homeless population from last year. Carmen Colon, the president & CEO of Pacific House in Stamford, joined the show to discuss what can be done to combat the trend.
