This week, Connecticut lost a political icon in former senator and vice-presidential candidate Joe Lieberman. His family says he passed Wednesday from complications from a fall.
Lieberman represented Connecticut in the U.S. Senate from 1989 until 2013. He was also Al Gore's running mate in the 2000 presidential race which went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
