Legislation that imposes stricter voter ID requirements was narrowly passed in the House of Representatives. The "Save America Act," backed by President Donald Trump, requires documented proof of U.S. citizenship in order to vote in federal elections. The bill would also allow the Department of Homeland Security to seize voter rolls in any state. If the bill passes in the senate, it would completely change the voting process in the United States.
