Stamford health officials tested an emergency preparedness plan today.
The Department of Health and Social Services held the emergency response drill at Stamford High School. 
Officials say they focused on a scenario where they would need to dispense life-saving medication to the community. 
They say it's a way to determine the plan's efficiency. 
Officials say volunteers with Medical Reserve Corps Stamford assisted with the drill.
