A major new law to control prescription drug prices is headed to the governor's desk.
The law, which passed the General Assembly, forces drugmakers to justify big price spikes, like the spike that happened with EpiPen a few years ago.
The law also forces pharma companies, insurance carriers and their middlemen to reveal what kinds of rebates they’re getting and pass those savings on to patients.
