A ribbon cutting was held at the Price Rite Marketplace on Main Street in Bridgeport Friday following the store’s remodeling.

The chain, which has locations in Danbury, Hamden, and Torrington, remodeled its stores to focus on fresh foods and discounts.

Customers will find a revitalized decor, a market-style produce department, an increase in organic products, and a new "Drop Zone" with even more deals.

As part of the reopening, each store offered the first 400 customers in line a complimentary $20 Price Rite gift card.
