Norwalk-based Priceline is once again doing its part to help others this holiday season.
Later this morning, Priceline and its employees will be teaming up with Costco in Norwalk to donate several tons of food to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County in Stamford this Thanksgiving.
This is their 20th annual holiday food drive.
A tradition Priceline says is especially important to carry out this year with inflation impacting so many people.
Around 50 Priceline employees will be heading out from Priceline's headquarters in Norwalk to Costco to buy the food.
They will load up a few trucks and then bring the goods to the food bank.
Everything from turkeys for Thanksgiving to shelf-stable items to get people through the winter.
"With inflation food insecurity has become a really big concern worldwide especially here in the United States even here in Fairfield County. Many people would be surprised at how many people are going without food," said Priceline CEO Brett Keller.
Throughout the holiday season, Priceline will also raise money for the food bank as well.
