A Westport high school principal is denouncing hateful graffiti found at his school.

Staples High School administrators say the graffiti was racist and discriminatory. It was found in the stall of a boy's restroom.Principal John Dodig voiced his concern over the incident during a loudspeaker announcement. He also sent e-mails to parents asking them to speak to their children."I can't change people's beliefs," Dodig said. "That's a family and church issue. But I can have control over what's appropriate ? in our school."Dodig said Staples High remains one of the most accepting schools he's worked at during his 40-year education career.
